Website Charter
One of our goals is to help beginning students in the Nano-Science program, particularly at Dakota County Technical College (DCTC). If you are interested in what it’s like studying Nano-technology at DCTC, check out our “Blogs” section. There you will find entries about our ups & downs and personal experiences at DCTC. For students just starting, check out the “Prepare Yourself!” section. There you will find different bits of information that will be helpful going into the program, or stuff you should pay extra attention to in class. The “Useful Info” part of the site, is just that, useful info. Seriously, the “Useful Info” area will be nice to have up while doing homework. Various constants, symbols, conversion factors, etc. will all be found there. The links section is a compilation of various interesting or helpful sites that we have compiled over the years.
Now, this site is not ONLY for students of this discipline or students at DCTC. People with a general interest in science will find this site interesting and enlightening. In the “Links” section there are various sites with lectures and documentaries relating to nano-science and beyond. Coming soon is a “Nano-News” area with the latest in updates and breakthroughs in Nano-technology. So, we just want to say "Welcome to our site!"
As of Dec 2008 the site is still under construction. Shoot us an e-mail if you have any ideas or comments about the site.
